A History of Innovation

Founded in 1975 as Unified Neighbors, UN began life as a consumer newsmagazine. Over the years, we added printing and mailing capability, initially to produce and distribute the Unified Neighbors publication.

In 1988 we sold the initial magazine (now part of national powerhouse Angie’s List) to focus on printing, mailing, and marketing services. We became UN Communications, overlooking the pun that we might help people un-communicate, and the fact that our position is dead-last in any alphabetical listing.

Proving that quality service can overcome a dubious moniker, we grew on, adding 40" Heidelberg equipment in 1996, Internet capability in 1999, and digital printing in 2001.

In 2006, we formally launched the UN Solutions Group, focusing our combined technology on client marketing projects.

In 2008, we created tools that greatly enhance the marketing capability of small businesses, including a customer list management system called CPMDataManager. When coupled with our proprietary XpressMessages.com, we provide a high-impact, turnkey marketing system
